HONDA CBR1000RR FIREBLADE REVIEW
Honda is coming again with its Fireblade to Indian Market."Fireblade" was originally the world market term for Honda's 900 cc sport bike. It has been produced since 1992, starting with the Honda CBR900RR.The 2009 CBR1000RR remains the lightest, most compact, and best performing motorcycle in the 1000cc class.The CBR900RR's large displacement engine coupled with its relatively light weight and nimble frame was unheard of. Since then there have been numerous variations from the original 893 cc Blade to the current CBR1000RR.Its top speed is estimated as 180mph.
ABS is the big news for 2009 for those riders seeking better braking and control, the CBR1000RR features Combined Anti-Lock Braking, the most advanced (and first-ever) ABS system to find its way onto an open-class superbike.It is well known for its style,wheel base,mileage and price.It is available in some newer colours like Pearl White/Light Silver Metallic.The bikes are sold through the exclusive showrooms of Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata.The Fireblade which is famous as the sports bike with good control has been launched in India. The CBR 1000R and CBR 1000RR Prices Rs. 9.5 lakhs and 12.5 lakhs respectively.
HONDA CBR1000RR FIREBLADE ENGINE
The 999 cc water cooled 4 cylinder engine of CBR 1000RR has a power of 178 bhp. It also has A.B.S. and 6-speed gear transmission technologies. The 998 cc liquid cooled 4 cylinder engine of CBR 1000R has a power of 123 bhp. The tank capacity is 17 litres for both the bikes.
