Rolls-Royce has announced a partnership with Beverly Hills-based designer Bijan Pakzad. Bijan will work closely with the super-luxury automaker to turn out a handful of special edition Phantoms, complete with the designer's own personal touches. So far, we've been left in the dark about exactly what kinds of changes to expect, though Rolls-Royce says that Bijan will lay out a host of specifications for the company's craftsmen to meet. Considering that the designer's personal car is a bright yellow Phantom Drophead Coupe, we can bet that the new Phantoms will be anything but subdued.
Rolls-Royce and Bijan made the announcement at the Bijan Boutique in Beverly Hills – nicknamed the most expensive store in the world – just before this year's Los Angeles Auto Show got underway.
Most of you remember the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost Gold Edition from this year's Geneva Salon - how can one forget such an eye-blinding proposal... The Swiss tuner is back with a new strictly limited edition version of the "baby" Rolls Royce, named for obvious reasons the Ghost White Edition, of which only three examples will be built.
Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost White Edition, starting with features the exact same body kit with restyled bumpers, spoilers, side skirts and additional air vents as well as alloy wheel designs with the Gold Edition, this time Mansory skipped the Fast-&-Furious paint job and gaudy gold trim in favor of a simple white finish and unpainted 22-inch rims. The silly-looking boot lid spoiler is still there, but overall, a huge improvement over the Gold Edition
While the interior was also upgraded with two-tone leather surfaces all around, custom wood trim on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels, aluminum pedals and foot rest, and additional LED lighting. Mansory’s upgrades go as far as re-upholstering the car’s boot.The engine used a performance package that lifts output from 570HP and 780Nmto638HP and860Nm / 634.3 lb-ft of torque. The extra grunt helps the Ghost White Edition complete the 0 to 100km/h (62mph) sprint in 4.5 seconds (0.4 sec faster than the stock model), while thanks to the revoked speed limit, top speed is now 290km/h (180mph).

The Rolls-Royce Phantom T is featured in the Bespoke Collection. The bonnet has a dramatic brushed aluminium finish, which contrasts elegantly with the bodywork, painted in Darkest T - a colour never used before on a production Rolls-Royce. New 21-inch forged aluminium wheels and visible exhaust tail pipes lend a particularly purposeful air to this special Phantom. On the inside is a unique interior lighting system, featuring a Starlight Headlining, which comprises several hundred fibre-optic lights embedded into perforated black leather, giving the impression of a star-filled night sky. Smoke Grey leather seats with contrasting Navy Blue piping complement the rich rosewood veneers and tooled metal steering wheel spokes.
The engine comes from the BMW V12 powerplant.It is 1.63 meters (63 inches) in height and 1.99 m (74.8 inches) wide, 5,83 m (228 inches) long and weighs 2485 kg (5478 lbs). The body of the machine based on a surface of aluminum and the Phantom can accelerate to 100 km / h (62 mph) in 5,7 s. It is a six-speed automatic transmission and dual-arm extended suspension.
