New Honda city will launch in India soon
Honda Siel is back with newer version of popular HONDA CITY.They have launch new model in Thailand and it is likely to come in India next month.The design of the new CITY is based on the total pursuit of a compact, yet dynamic form with road presence. In addition, class-leading interior space was achieved to create a cabin that surrounds the occupants with an open and secure feeling.
The new CITY is equipped with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine, which is further advanced in every way, including greater output and fuel consumption.
Furthermore, with Honda's unique commitment to provide both advanced safety and environmental performance, the new CITY achieves the highest levels in every area in the effort to become the new bench mark for subcompact sedans.
Most of the additions that would make the new City a charmer are still kept under wraps. However, industry watchers say that along with a new engine, there would also be some changes in the design of the vehicle. The new City is expected to be positioned in such a way that it would compete with the recently launched SX4 sedan from Maruti Suzuki stables.
Honda Small car Jazz / Fit in india mid 2008
Small car buyers may soon have one more option. HONDA company is working hard on their small redesigned car honda FIT/JAZZ plans to launch it in mid 2008 in Indian market.
The Honda Jazz / Fit is a five-door hatchback automobile produced by Honda of Japan, that was first introduced in June 2001. The Jazz is based on the same platform as the Honda CityZX. At 3,830mm, the Jazz will meet the 4-metre overall length parameter that the Government has set for being eligible for the lower 16 per cent excise duty rate.
However, in most markets the Jazz or the Fit is currently being offered with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a feature that will disqualify it for the lower excise rate, based on the Government's other 1.2-litre engine size limitation for eligible small cars. Honda could be developing a smaller sized version of its i-DSI engine for meeting the norms.
