2011 BMW X3

2011 BMW X3 is officially sold from today (06/04). BMW X3 is available in petrol and diesel variants. BMW X3 xDrive35i become expensive with prices of U.S. $ 1.028 billion (excluding traffic). X3 is equipped with the gasoline engine 3.000cc, 6-cylinder bi-turbo, direct injection and Valvetronic. The energy released is 306 hp at 5800 rpm and a torque of 400 Nm at 1200-5000 rpm.

Acceleration 0-100 KPJ X3 xDrive35i accomplished in 5.7 seconds. The maximum speed of 245 KPJ. 11.4 km fuel consumption / emissions of carbon dioxide per liter and 204 g / km. Although type diesel X3 xDrive 20d available in two variants of the company (USD 828 million - off-the-road) and executive (Rp 898 million - off the road). Engine 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel Power 184 hp X3 xDrive20d burst at 4000 rpm and 380 Nm to 1750 Nm.

One liter of diesel consumed X3 xDrive20d can roam up to 17.9 km. X3 xDrive20d issued only 147 g CO2 per km. All X3 armed with 8-speed transmission and features Auto Start / Stop (one part of the EfficientDynamics). X3 also steal EPS (electronic power steering), regenerative brake energy, and the tires had low rolling resistance.


The latest generation X3 gains 3.3 inches in overall length, with an added .6 inches to the wheelbase, along with an extra 1.1 inches of width and 1.4 inches of height. Depending on the model, the new X3 still manages to shed about 50 lbs.

Thanks to the larger outer shell, passengers will gain 0.8 inches of legroom in the back row, along with another 2.8 cubic feet of storage space in the rear hatch area.

X3 is the world’s population reached 614,824 units since the first generation was launched in 2004. SAV is born of the Spartanburg plant.

BMW's Paris Show Highlights Include EfficientDynamics X3, New Engines and AWD for 5-Series

BMW has released details of what it will be presenting at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Alongside the world premiere of the Concept 6 Series Coupé, 2011 X3 SUV and 5-series Touring are new engines, AWD and phone tech for the 5-series and an Efficient Dynamics version of the X3.

The Bavarian automaker is touting standard electromechanical servotronic steering (which adjusts the responsiveness of the steering depending on the vehicle's speed) along with optional Drive Dynamic Control, adaptive headlights, HUD and a "top view" rear view camera available across its 2011 X3 range.

An EfficientDynamics variant of the X3 with stop-start technology and a six-cylinder engine / eight-speed automatic transmission combo will also be shown, but will not be available in the US and Canada.

BMW will also unveil several new engines for its latest 5-series range, including a 3.0-liter in-line six 525d producing 204 hp (150 kw) and a 528i with 258 hp (190 kw) for the Touring (wagon). A twin turbo straight-six 535d diesel with an impressive sounding 300 hp (220 kw) will also be offered in both body styles.

An all-wheel-drive derivative of the 5-series sedan and Touring called xDrive - which will be available with both 535i and 530d engines - will also be officially launched (again, not available in the USA and Canada). xDrive will also be available as an option on all Gran Turismo models and as a sedan-only 550i model.

The 5-series will also get the options of a hands-free tailgate from Q2 2011 and ConnectDrive, which allows Blackberry and iPhone integration. Now you can read and dictate emails from the comfort of the driver's seat, while your back seat passengers take advantage of the wireless internet access. No word on pricing information, of course.

New accessories for the M3 focused on the areas of aerodynamics and the interior, along with M-sport packages for the 5-series sedan / Touring and X3 SUV will also debut in Paris.

BMW X3

Here we have the younger brother of the BMW X5, sporting a new front face kidney-shaped like grille that enhances its sporty looks, the new enhanced BMW X3 continues to set standards in the visual aesthetics of compact premium SAV’s (Sports Activity Vehicle).

Launched in March of this year in Malaysia, the X3 also sports a redesigned front air-dam and new fog lights. It is surprising though, that the X3 looks like it has a rather low roofline even though it sits on all 17″ alloy rims. Some may find it awkward looking, due to it’s narrow-looking styling that is presented in this model, but then again, it’s a BMW, so expect some superb road holding.
