Mahindra India is all set to launch the Thar in India in december, 2010. It is already on sale in Europe and South Africa from last two years. Mahindra Thar is a reworked version of the Commander Jeep that was pulled off the roads in early 2000. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 7,00,000 which seems to be quite resonable considering the fact that it sports a 2.5 litre diesel engine and is a well built product.
