TVS APACHE RTR 250 OVERVIEW
TVS India is going to launch its new updated Apache, The RTR 250. Its ancestor RTR 160 & 180 models has been a great success in India. It is heard that TVS is going to launch Apache RTR 220 soon, but now it is expected that it will be Apache 250. It is expected that TVS Apache RTR 250 will hit Indian roads by April/May 2010. Though their is no official announcement it is expected to be price about Rs. 1,10,000.
TVS Apache RTR 250 is powered by a single cylinder, 4 stroke engine that delivers a maximum power of 30bhp with maximum torque of 22 Nm. It has a six speed gearbox, 1-down, 5-up pattern.
The rear view mirrors will be mounted on the front fairing. It might also feature ABS setting a new safety standard for performance bikes. New Apche has to face bigger competitions from Yamaha R15, Hero Honda Karizma ZMR & Bajaj Pulsar 220. More Details
