The production model of the Gallardo Spyder has been sent to the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006. It is believed by the company to a new 512 hp (381.8 kW) and a lower percentage of six-speed manual gearbox. The soft top is completely gone.
Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer was the first in North America, the delivery of the Gallardo Spyder.
